Computer and its Characteristics

 What is Computer? Explain the different Characteristics of Computer.

Like any other necessity,now a days computer is also one of the necessary thing for human being.

Computer is an electronic Device which takes the raw data from the user,process that data and gives the final output to the user. 

so major operations perform by the computer includes inputting the data,processing that data,displaying the Output and Storage of the data. 




Characteristics of Computer:

  1. Speed: Computer can perform thousands of the instructions in very few seconds. Computer can perform every work very speedily compare to human being.
  2. Storage Capacity:Computer have large storage capacity. Computer have Internal storage as well as Secondary storage devices.
  3. Diligence: Computer can perform its operations over a longer period of time without creating any kind of error.
  4. Consistency: Computer can able to perform similar task continuously without tiredness or any error.In simple way,Computer can repeat its task again and again.
  5. No Feelings: Unlike human being,computer don't have emotions.
  6. Versatility: It is the ability of the computer to perform different task with same accuracy 
  7. Accuracy: Computer can perform all its task with accuracy.
